Billing (Stripe)

Server-global. With all four set, Upgrade renders Stripe's payment form inside the app (embedded checkout); without the publishable key it falls back to Stripe's hosted page. Blank saves keep stored secrets.

Email Resend

Transactional email — password resets (signup confirmations and digests later). Create a free Resend account, verify the cinchora.app domain (DNS records shown in their dashboard), and paste the API key.

The origin used to build links we email out — password resets, digest deep links, Stripe redirects. Set it on the live server. Left blank, it's derived from the incoming request's host, which is one proxy misconfiguration away from a password-reset link pointing at someone else's domain.

Bot protection on the signup form for open signups. Create a Turnstile widget in the Cloudflare dashboard (Turnstile → Add site, domain cinchora.app, Managed mode) and paste both keys — the checkbox appears on signup only when both are set.

Mercury tax auto-sweep

Powers the monthly sweep that moves collected sales tax from Checking into the Taxes account. Create a token in Mercury (Settings → API tokens) and paste it — it is stored write-only, like the Stripe keys.

How many candidates each search sends to the AI scorer. Blank = your plan's automatic size (results wanted × multiplier, clamped). Bigger = wider coverage and linearly more cost per search.

Embeddings experimental

Rank matches by meaning — résumé ↔ job vectors — instead of keyword overlap. Needs an OpenAI key; the whole cache vectorizes in ~1 min for a few cents, and new postings are embedded automatically after each crawl.

Which number the result cards show. AI fit is the real shown-or-not judgment. Vector match shows the pool-ranker score (cosine when embeddings are on, else keyword) — i.e. why a job made it into the scoring pool.

Search a specific company

Type a company's name and we'll look for its official hiring board. This works when the company hires through Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or Workday — true of many employers large and small. Some companies (e.g. Starbucks) run closed hiring systems Cinchora can't search yet, so not every name will resolve. Add several at once by separating with commas.

Community boards owner

Every board a user added by name. A board is private to whoever added it — searched for them, invisible to everyone else — until you Share it. Open a board first to see what it actually is: anything you share puts its postings and apply links in front of every user. Deny removes it everywhere and it can't be re-added.

Privacy

Your resume, preferences, and saved jobs are stored in Cinchora's own database and never sold or shared. For precision matching, your resume text and each job description are sent to the AI provider the service is configured to use (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) for scoring only — neither trains on API data by default. Nothing else is uploaded or shared. You can delete your account and all its data anytime below.
